Fussy Food Plates - Our Story

Award-Winning Nutritionist & Mum of 3

As a busy mum of three, I know how stressful mealtimes can feel. Between busy schedules, tired evenings, cost-of-living pressures and very real fussy eating phases, feeding a family can quickly become overwhelming.

With over 18 years’ experience across STEM and nutrition, I’ve seen how science, sensory learning and environment can shape a child’s relationship with food. But becoming a parent showed me something even more important — children don’t need more pressure around food, they need more confidence, curiosity and positive experiences.

That insight became the foundation for Fussy Food Plates.

After extensive research, product development and real-life testing with families, I created a playful, sensory-led mealtime tool designed to make food feel more approachable, engaging and fun.

Fussy Food Plates are designed to spark creativity, encourage exploration and help families create more positive mealtime experiences — without pressure, guilt or perfection.

Our mission is simple: to help families feel less stressed and more supported around food.

Through nutrition-led education, sensory exploration and playful products, we help children build confidence around food while giving parents practical, realistic support that works in everyday life.
