Summary

This application provides an augmented reality experience using Vuforia and is built with the Unity game engine. The app operates primarily on the device and functions without requiring an active internet connection for normal use. The app does not collect, store, or share any personal data. A limited amount of anonymous technical information may be collected solely for the purpose of monitoring application errors and crashes, as described below.

Data Collection by the App

The app itself does not collect:

• Personal information

• Names or email addresses

• Location data

• IP addresses

• Device identifiers that can identify the user or exact device

• Tracking data or behavioural analytics

Camera access is used only in real time to enable augmented reality functionality. No images, video, or sensor data are recorded, saved, or transmitted.

Anonymous Error and Crash Reporting

This app uses PostHog (https://posthog.com/), a privacy-focused analytics and diagnostics platform, solely to monitor application stability by collecting anonymous error and crash information.

• PostHog is configured to operate in a privacy-preserving manner:

• No personally identifiable information is collected

• IP addresses are not collected, stored or used

• No location data (such as country, city, or GPS data) is collected

• No user profiles or identifiers are created

The information collected is strictly limited to non-identifying technical data required for debugging and improving the app, including:

• App version

• Device type and model

• Operating system version

• Screen dimensions (height and width)

This data is used exclusively to identify and fix issues, and improve performance, to enhance the user experience. It is not used for advertising, tracking, profiling, or analytics beyond error diagnostics.

Offline Operation

All core functionality, including augmented reality features, runs fully offline. A network connection is not required for the app to function.

Unity

This app is built using the Unity game engine and data collection using Unity Analytics has been disabled. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. 

• No Unity services (such as Unity Analytics, Unity Ads, Cloud Diagnostics, or other Unity Gaming Services) are enabled

• Unity does not collect data from app users through this app

• The Unity engine is used solely as a runtime framework

Vuforia

This app uses the Vuforia Engine SDK for augmented reality processing. This provides the advanced AR tracing and image recognition capabilities. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

• AR tracking and recognition are performed on-device

• Camera frames are processed in real time and are not uploaded or stored

• The developer does not collect or receive personal data via Vuforia

Vuforia may collect limited, non-personal technical and statistical data (such as SDK version, device compatibility, license validation status, and lifecycle events) to operate and improve the Vuforia Engine. This data does not include camera images, video, or user-generated content. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policies of Vuforia Engine Data Security & Statistics, as any data processed by Vuforia is governed by PTC’s privacy policies.

Data Collected by Apple

Apple may automatically collect aggregated diagnostic and performance information, such as:

• App usage metrics

• Crash reports

• Performance diagnostics

This data is collected by Apple, not the developer, and is governed by Apple’s privacy policies. The developer does not receive information that identifies individual users.
